Below is this year's list of some of my favorite places to shop & ideas for gifts. I love collecting ideas throughout the year so that, when the time comes, I'm prepared to treat loved ones to things I'm almost certain they'll enjoy.
Sarah's Picks
Some of these items I already own, a few are on my wishlist, and others I am considering to give as gifts this year. All are great, simple examples of items that many people would enjoy.
1. Candles by Brooklyn Candle Studio // 2. Fisherman Sweater by Quince // 3. Cook book by Benjamina Ebuehi
4. Puzzles by Ordinary Habit // 5. Bookends by Unison // 6. Verdure Vase by Verdant

7. Sequence Home Supply // 8. Biddy // 9. Modocado
Goods with a Shelf Life
Gifts that have a limited lifespan are great options for those hard-to-shop-for friends and family members. Think edible items like baked goods, chocolates, artisan salts, honey, wine or spirits, as well as soaps, candles, and fresh flowers. Food52 is one of my favorite places for inspiration, some fun examples below. A gift card for a favorite restaurant, photography session, organization session, concert venue, or other fun experience is another excellent option, especially for friends & family who don't need (or want) physical gifts this year.
1. French soap // 2. Beeswax taper candles // 3. Scented candles
4. Artisan honey // 5. Gourment spreads // 6. Fancy chocolate
While gifts can be a fun and special way to celebrate the holidays, nothing beats quality time spent with the ones you love. Here's to a wonderful holiday season!
