While there are so many meaningful ways to love our friends and family, gift giving can be a fun way to celebrate the season. I've rounded up some of my favorite goods and shops that would make great gifts this year.
Sarah's Picks
Most of these things already have a spot in our home and I love them so much that I'd recommend them to anyone wanting to give a beautiful, versatile gift around the holidays.
Finnish Sisu Diffuser by Hetkinen: Nina of Hazelfern Goods introduced me to this Finnish lifestyle brand that makes the most beautiful and interesting room diffusers. She gifted this to us for our new bathroom and it's really lovely. It has a fresh and clean scent, perfect for any room or season.
Sammu Candle Snuffer by Julie and Mika Tolvanen: We discovered these Finnish designers while visiting Helsinki, and I treated myself to one of their snuffers to use in our living room. A beautiful accent piece.
Swedish Birch Board from June Home Supply. A great gift for someone who loves charcuterie boards!
Schooner Glasses by Bobo: The coolest bars in Stockholm use these hand-blown glassware made in Sweden. We plan to get a set for our home.
Soul Clip by Kov Essentials: My favorite hair clip! They come in a variety of sizes and colors and are great quality.
Minim Cards from Area Ware: You can never have too many playing cards, and I love the minimalist design of these.
Girlfriend Socks by Le Bon Shoppe: I've been wearing these exclusively all year long. They come in a variety of colors and a few different styles. High quality and very comfortable.
Yuba Sunnies by Sunski: These sunglasses are my favorite. The frames have a lifetime warranty and the lenses are replaceable, too!
Stagg Pourover Set by Fellow: I gifted this to Cary for his office and he uses it daily. We have a number of Fellow products and all are great - beautiful and functional.
Key ring by Lisbeth Jewelry: I love a pretty key ring. A simple and useful gift.
Aalto Vase by Iittala: We have a few of these vases designed by Alvar Aalto around the house. Beautiful with or without flowers.
I'll Bring Dessert by Benjamina Ebuehi: Our favorite cookbook author came out with another book this year! It's wonderful and full of interesting and user-friendly recipes.
Featured Shops
Storied Objects
This small business based out of Portland, OR is my favorite new discovery of 2024. They carry the most special and beautifully curated artisan pottery, glassware, and other goods both in their storefront and online. I always feel inspired after browsing their collections. We have their Minka magazines and Sammu candle snuffer displayed in our living room.
Local Shade
A Wilmington-based clothing and home goods shop that feels like a breath of fresh air. Molly has curated a beautiful collection of simple, beachy styles and designs that make me want to live by the ocean. I love browsing her selection.
Petit
I found this precious shop online before our Stockholm visit, and it was even more cute in person if that is possible! It has the sweetest selection of Scandinavian-designed children's clothing and accessories. Thankfully, they also have an online store and they ship to the US. I treated myself to a lemon onesie and muslin swaddle for our baby box.
Happy Habitat
We are the proud owners of two Happy Habitat blankets, and they are the most beautiful and so snuggly! There are so many fun patterns to choose from and the quality is top notch. I've already gifted one this year and it was a hit.
Ordinary Habit
I can't let an annual gift guide go by without recommending my favorite puzzle company! Puzzles are the ultimate cozy holiday activity, and they make great gifts. Ordinary Habit has the best designs and the quality is excellent. Use coupon code Loyti10 or visit the link below for 10% off your order.
While gifts can be a fun and special way to celebrate the holidays, nothing beats quality time spent with the ones you love. Here's to a wonderful holiday season!
